ステージと客席をつなぐように半透明のスクリーンを設置し、会場全体が一つの空間として、音楽と映像と光を感じられるように計画しています。客席は3方向に配置されており、映像（スクリーン）を通して音楽を感じられる場所と、奏者を直接感じられる場所、いろいろな関係のしかたや奥行きが出るように計画しています。照明の明暗によって様々な色と映像が映し出されたり、時には真っ暗な中でスクリーンが無くなったかのように、小さな光の映像だけが空中に浮いているかのように見えることもあります。
衣装は舞台上で映像や光に反応して光り、存在感も変化するように、テキスタイルから自身で製作しています。
I was in charge of stage design, lighting and costume design for a concert fusing music and visual images by CreArtBox, based in New York.
I laid out translucent screens connecting the stage and the audience, so that the entire space could be perceived as one world with music and visual images and lights.The audience seats are arranged in three directions in relation to the stage, so that some can feel the music through the projections (screens) and some can feel the performers directly, creating a variety of relationships and layered depth.Various colors and images are projected on the screen, and sometimes, depending on the brightness of the lighting, it appears as if the screen has disappeared in total darkness and only small light images floating in the air.
I also made the costumes by myself from textile design so that they would glow and change their presence on stage in response to the brightness of images and lights.
